Hey, the song set went great. We wanted to introduce the song How He Loves and you responded with singing. Than as we went into Fire Fall Down, it did. Wow the voices of you singing was great. We could hear you on stage from the seats. Thank you for joining in the worship in such a vocal way!

Here is part 2 of our vision for Fellowship Church.

Defining Our Vision (pt. 2)
The Bible tells us “where there is no vision, the people perish (KJV)”. Vision is critical to any group of believers following after God’s plan for their lives. Andy Stanley defines vision as “the ability to see what can be”. Fellowship Church has been given an incredible vision that will require each and every member to join in the effort. To date there are 40K people who live in Habersham County and less than 10% of that group is faithful followers of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to reach the 90% who do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. In this three part series we are looking at what our mission statement means. Last week we looked at the word creative, today we will consider the word different.
Different –
God expressed His creative nature by making each person different. Uniqueness is the thing that makes life interesting. What if every person on the face of the earth was like me? Think that’s funny, well what if every person on the face of the earth were just like you? Being different is healthy and productive. We all have different body shapes, noses, ears, voices, and many other attributes that were given by God as special feature that distinctly make us who we are.
Like people, churches should be different as well. Not all people like the same worship styles, preaching styles and ministry styles. Unfortunately many of us have been raised in churches that taught certain rituals and procedures as Biblically mandated, however most of what we know as normal in church is man-made. At Fellowship Church we desire to become what God wants us to be and that means being different.
Dictionary.com define different as: distinct, separate, unusual, and dissimilar. At Fellowship we seek to be unlike any other church in Habersham County. Why be like all the rest when we can be the best! Not to say other churches aren’t good or important, but we seek to reach out to people who would not be touched by church normal.
Sometimes being different will cause others to be suspicious and cautious, but we should never shy away from expressing our difference as long as we honor Jesus Christ and His Word. So never be amazed when Fellowship is different and creative, we are only seeking to be all that God wants us to be. We truly desire to be distinct, separate, unusual and dissimilar.
