OK this is gonna be a long one:
I just received a call from Eric over at Habersham Baptist and the doors were blown off the church this AM. Eric has been praying for his church to start experiencing God on a higher level and that started today. Eric started the service with a scripture from Matthew that said, 33 But whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven. Then he shared the good news about his sister. The mass inside has been reduced 30% and she and her Mom were being flown in today. Praise the Lord. She is on the mend and would ask for remembrance in prayer. Eric then shared for each one to think of something they knew God had done for them and focus on it. Then the praising began. People sang out LOUD. People moved to pray. Testimony was shared and the Lord was praised as the in answer to a prayer. Fellowship folks please continue to pray for our friends at Habersham Baptist. We are spending time with Eric this week to encourage and train him into becoming the worship leader Christ would want him to be. We need your prayers to share and guide the right stuff at the right time. We'll be doing small group planning soon with Matt. Wow God is Good.
Now about our AM service. click here and read the conclusion and pray that we will continue to give Him our heart. Did you click the previous link if not please go back and do so now then proceed. Thanks:please take time and soak in the remianng scripture.
27-28After this he went out and saw a man named Levi at his work collecting taxes. Jesus said, "Come along with me." And he did—walked away from everything and went with him.
29-30Levi gave a large dinner at his home for Jesus. Everybody was there, tax men and other disreputable characters as guests at the dinner. The Pharisees and their religion scholars came to his disciples greatly offended. "What is he doing eating and drinking with crooks and 'sinners'?"
31-32Jesus heard about it and spoke up, "Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I'm here inviting outsiders, not insiders—an invitation to a changed life, changed inside and out."
Levi(Matthew) was so moved by this man Jesus that he threw a party for his friends so that they might get to know Him. At what cost have we gone to invite our non christian friends? Please invite and invite and invite you friends to Jesus.
