Fellowship Church Roof Blown Off!

The wind and rains came hard during service last night. The roof was blown off before that. GotYa! Wow the Spirit of the Lord came down in a mighty way at Fellowship Church last night. 240 folks on a Sunday night during the summer, ya gotta be joking. They each expressed worship to God with all their heart, mind and soul. The outpouring of love to our friends from the Transitional Center was tremendous. I walked around to several tables and found one or two Fellowship folks spending time with our guest. As Robbie would say, "Giddy UP!(Ya'll)" I like to add the ya'll. That is part of what its all about. Jesus came to love me when I was unlovable and we learn from His unconditional love to love those we come in contact with even if we don't know them. The staff from LACI was blown away! Keep loving on them ya'll. Kudos to the Praise and Tech Team. You guys Rock! I got my fork and spoon and can't wait to see what God is gonna do next. This Sunday come hungry.

One Prayer Celebration WOW

Last night was a great night of worship. Thank You Habersham Baptist for joining. The night was filled with laughter, chatter and uplifting the Name of the Lord in Praise. Its fun to be together at church. We have a great deal to do to reach Habersham County and together we can. We have to be become irresistible to our community so they might see something different from the religious crowd. We serve a living God! Invite and invest in those around you that do not know Christ as there Savior. Thanks again to Fellowship ans Habersham, I look forward to continue serving with you.

Have ya noticed

Its been a few weeks since Baldwin Cleanup Day and the relationship with LACI continues to grow. I was by the church today and saw the trailer load of clothing that will be separated and given to the residents. Soon those garments will be filled with hope for a preferred future. I pray for the ladies as the odds are stacked against them normally but now they are being turned as we learn to love and intercede for them. I know several have obtained employment around the county and more to come. We are nearing in on transportation to be able to move folks to worship services. I am stoked that we will be soon going to lead in a night of worship at Alto. God has been working on our hearts to love others that the world says is hard to love when we ourselves are hard to love, yet God loved us so much He sent his Son so that we might have life and have it more abundantly here and in Heaven. GOd is doing a great work at Fellowship Church and is giving oppurtunity to share with other churches to build the kingdom. Please continue to pray. Thanks!

The look on his face

Wow, we have started the "One Prayer" series and I am excited. I am praying for our church to continue to catch the fever of the unity. This extends out of the local body into the community. We have partnered with Habersham Baptist and have already been working together on many things. This will extend beyond the sermon series. Last Tuesday Mickey and I went to their praise team rehearsal. We had a good time working with the singers, musicians and tech team. Eric is their new worship leader. He is new to doing this. His mother Teresa, plays the keys, Eric the guitar. A couple weeks ago he shared 'bout wanting a new guitar that had an electric output. Following the rehearsal it was decided we would get him a guitar, i just didn't know how or what. The next day this was solved as Mickey donated his former guitar. When Mickey laid it in his hands Tuesday night, you should have seen the look on his face. He was stoked. The whole praise team was stoked. His mother Teresa was stoked. We challenged him to become the best worship leader and we would help him anyway we could. Hey there is gonna be more so stay tuned and look for your area of service to help join in on kingdom growth.
